Licence and refunds

The terms that come with every Operator Toolkit Pack.

Licence

Each pack is licensed to a single organisation for unlimited internal use.

  • You may edit the documents, rebrand them and use them across your own operations, sites and vessels.
  • You may share them internally with employees and with contractors working on your behalf.
  • You may not resell, redistribute, publish or supply them to another organisation as a product, whether edited or not.
  • The licence has no expiry. Buy once, use them for as long as they are useful.

If you need terms for a group of companies or for onward supply to a client as a deliverable, ask and it can be arranged in writing.

Refunds

The packs are editable documents delivered as an immediate download, so they cannot be handed back once you have them. Sales are final and there is no refund for a change of mind.

At checkout you confirm that you want the download straight away, and that you understand this ends any cancellation right you would otherwise have had.

Two things are not affected by that and never will be:

  • If a file is corrupt, incomplete or will not open, say so and it will be fixed or refunded.
  • If a pack is materially different from what this site describes, say so and it will be refunded.

If you are not certain a pack fits your vessel or your operation, ask before you buy rather than after. Every pack page lists exactly what is in the download, and a straight answer about whether it suits you costs nothing and takes a day at most. If it is not right for you, you will be told so.

Scope of the material

The packs are templates and worked structures, written from operating experience. They are not legal, regulatory or classification advice, and they do not constitute approval of anything.

Acceptance criteria, limits and thresholds are deliberately left as "(enter)" so that they point to your vessel specification, your alarm philosophy and your manufacturer data rather than somebody else's numbers. Approval always rests with your flag administration, your classification society, the relevant authority and your client.

Originality

All material is original and anonymised. It contains no client, employer or vessel identifiers, and no third-party document text. Publicly available standards and codes are cited by name only.
